Dear young couples in Nigeria, How do you guys cope? SMA Gold is now ₦26,000. The prices of baby essentials are crazy. At this point, only God can provide for new mommies & daddies. Things are out of control.

This afternoon, I spoke extensively with the Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (Prof. Kate Omenugha). Firstly, i asked her why she was charging students compulsory N15,000 which she clearly explained that it's ICT fee. She also explained how the money is being spent. I also raised the issue of absence of electricity in the university for more than 15 years. She clarified that it is the entire Uli town that is facing that challenge and not peculiar to the university. I recommended they invest in building a solar farm to power the university and it's environs as the government of IMO and Anambra state sorts out the power conflicts. We discussed further on the issue of sorting, sex for grades, victimizations, extortions etc which she said that she has been tackling since she assumed office. She also pointed out some ongoing cases she is handling and staff being fired. We agreed that I will share reports i get from students to her and she will prioritize it, investigate and take immediate actions. We also discussed about her letting students see their scripts after exams to reduce missing scripts claims and extortions, which she agreed she will start immediately but gradually. Finally, i recommended she revalidate the certificates of all her lecturers and staff to fish out those with fake certificates as currently being done at Abia State University. She agreed to setup a committee and start that immediately. I will encourage every student in that university to submit any cases or issues of fraud, extortions, sorting, sex for grades, intimidations, victimizations etc here campusintegrity.ng so we can get it to the Vice Chancellor and get it resolved as quickly as possible. Your details will be fully protected. Restoring full integrity in our universities is not option and it's urgent we do it now. We are all in the same journey of building the greatest workforce in Africa within 10 years.

Breaking: The Federal High Court in Abuja has nullified INEC’s directive requiring political parties to submit their membership register by May 10, 2026, ahead of the 2027 general elections. Justice M.G. Umar ruled that political parties have until September 2026, in line with the Electoral Act 2026, to submit updated membership registers and candidates’ particulars. The judgement is expected to give room for politicians who lost party primaries to defect to other parties ahead of the 2027 elections.

Open Apology Letter to the Obidient Movement My Dear Obidient Family, I come before you today with a heavy heart, deep humility, and no excuses. Some time ago, in a moment of frustration and immaturity, I wrote and released a resignation letter as Director of Mobilization. In that letter, I allowed deep frustration & personal emotions to cloud my judgment. I made statements that subtly and unnecessarily dragged Peter Obi, a man I still respect for his vision, integrity, and sacrifice for this nation. That was wrong. It was childish, and beneath the standard I should have upheld, especially as someone who once held a leadership position in this movement. I take full responsibility. No one forced me to write it. No one edited it. It came from me, and it was a mistake. I deleted the letter afterwards, but I know deletion does not erase the damage, the disappointment, or the loss of trust many of you felt. I understand why some of you no longer respect me the way you once did. You had every right to feel let down. To Peter Obi himself (fondly called PO): Sir, I am sincerely sorry. My words were not a true reflection of the values of sacrifice, accountability, and constructive criticism that you preach. I failed in that moment. To every single Obidient, the ones who stayed grinding, the ones who defended the vision even when it was tough, the ones who felt betrayed by my actions, I am deeply sorry. You are the real heroes of this movement. Many of you are young people full of hope and fire for a better Nigeria. You didn’t deserve to see internal cracks turned into public drama. I let you down. I am not writing this because I want something or a position in the movement as I’m enjoying private life. I am writing it because it is the right thing to do. Leadership is not only about when the road is sweet and smooth; it is also about owning up when you mess up. I own this fully. I am committed to rebuilding trust through consistent actions, not just words. But I also know trust is not demanded, it is earned back slowly, if at all. Thank you for reading this. Whether you accept my apology or not, I respect your feelings and your right to hold me accountable. The love I have for a better Nigeria has not changed. You all know me. My respect for the Obidient spirit remains. I am sorry truly. With humility and hope for forgiveness, Your brother in this struggle, Morris Monye. Oya come let’s hug. 😊

Read this news carefully. People who are NELFUND beneficiaries, meaning people who don’t have money and they had to take student loan from the government, those same poor people are donating money they don’t have which is likely that same loan back to the president for politics. This is a mad country. And APC is a gang of criminal animals. There is no other logical conclusion to make.
