The @AustralianLabor Government just gave the Israel lobby $ hundreds of millions of our money to fund this sort of shit in Australia… and campaigns to get journalists and academics sacked, censorship, misinformation and all the rest of it.

Israeli are now doing a right to rape rally at the new york times. They came out after nyt nick Kristof wrote a piece about how israelis are using rape of Palestinians men, women and children as a weapon of war. which has been well documented

So let me get this straight… We’re supposed to panic about falling behind China on AI like it’s some massive national emergency… but falling behind on high-speed rail, renewable energy, and even childhood nutrition is somehow totally fine? Interesting priorities 👀

Not acceptable to see police and public officials wear this.
Jenny Difficult-Frecklington-Jones 🇵🇸🍉🇮🇷@JonesHowDareYou

Seeing people wear this pin makes me feel unsafe, @AlboMP. Israel is being prosecuted in the ICJ by South Africa and other countries for the crime of genocide and there is an ICC arrest warrant out for Benjamin Netanyahu. When will you hear the voices of ordinary Aussies?

@cryptogoos And why wouldn't you? The USA under the Trump gangster regime is unreliable and prone to hissy fits while always trying to enforce a one-sided deal that shafts allies and enemies alike.

BAD NEWS FROM US-CHINA SUMMIT 🇺🇸🇨🇳 President Trump said China “chose not to buy” NVIDIA $NVDA H200 chips despite U.S. approval. China prefers to develop its own semiconductor chips rather than rely on foreign suppliers like NVIDIA.

If Trump is calling Xi 'a great leader and a friend' - then who is AUKUS for - and why are we spending billions on it while so many Australians can't afford food or to go to the doctor or to have a roof over their heads? #auspol

78 years ago, 800,000 Palestinians were expelled from their homes. Britain made it possible. Today, Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. Britain made it possible. 78 years of the Nakba - and 78 years of British complicity in crimes against the Palestinian people.

You cannot hold a RC into “antisemitism” that only involves Jews. There are many Semitic communities in this country, none of whom are permitted a voice at this RC. This is clearly NOT a RC into “antisemitism,” but an exclusive inquiry into the circumstances of Jews. If its very name is a lie, that doesn’t augur well for its usefulness.

Spoke on international law at a time when the US has transitioned from benevolent to predatory hegemon. “In fact the US can now be described as a rogue state and its war with Iran at Israel’s insistence has no justification under global law.”

Rubio stated about Cuba: "People are literally eating garbage from the streets", and added: "Cuba should not be a poor country. Cubans leave Cuba, go to other countries and succeed. The only place where they cannot thrive is Cuba". But Rubio "forgot" to mention one detail: it is the USA that has been strangling Cuba with sanctions and a total embargo for more than 60 years, trying to economically suffocate the island, create shortages, poverty and internal crisis. First, Washington imposes suffocating sanctions, blocks trade, finance and the country's development, and then hypocritically declares: "Look how badly they live". This is the essence of American policy towards undesirable states: create economic pressure, weaken the country from within, drive the population to despair, and then try to change the leadership under the slogans of "democracy" and "human rights". The same strategy the USA has been using against Iran for 47 years. The most severe sanctions have been imposed against the country, aimed at economic exhaustion and pressure on the people. But Washington has not understood the main thing: the Iranian people have a principle that cannot be broken by sanctions - it's better to endure hardships and maintain independence than to bow to Western hegemony. It is this ideology that the enemies of Iran are unable to understand. And it is this that commands the respect of millions of people around the world.

It wasn't just misleading, this was a fraud orchestrated by Coles executives to increase profits & enhance their positions. Why are non-corporate offenders charged, fined or gaoled, while these corporate rich escape personal accountability?
