Finally published my research on the DRN. It's an interesting read, even if I do say so myself! The Debt Relief Notice: Its Effectiveness in Improving the Financial Well-Being of Over-Indebted Individuals and Its Impact on Social Mobility bit.ly/3youwK2

Here’s an example of lax regulation. Your mobile phone provider is under no obligation to tell you your contract is up. I pay €60 a month to @VodafoneIreland but my contract ended in October 2021, and I could have been SIM-only for that time, for €30. Yes, my fault.

@Zurich It eventually got sorted, but it delayed the drawdown of my mortgage. Thankfully there was no rate increase while awaiting the correction😉

A special meeting this morning to further plans of raising awareness of domestic abuse and coercive control in Credit Unions. Two phenomenal women, and I’m looking forward to continuing our work from the last four years together. #creditunions

‘Is it one rule for the wealthy and famous and another rule for the rest of us?’ – TDs question AIB on debt write-down policies independent.ie/business/perso… It sure is and it’s evident in the differences between the personal insolvency solutions offered to debtors.
