With new information released by @SpaceX on the design of V3 Starship, one interesting new capability is the high-voltage electrically actuated cryogenic recirculation system and other upgrades designed to increase the time the ship can operate in space.
I thought this sounded familiar to recent @NASA research on this topic as well as the publicized collaborative work with @SpaceX using this and other related research efforts.
Starship V3 Cryogenic Recirculation – Integrating NASA Research for Extended Orbital Operations
1/ Starship Version 3 introduces a high-voltage electrically actuated cryogenic recirculation system, supported by 100% vacuum-jacketed header feed lines and upgraded RCS thrusters. This capability enables prolonged on-orbit operations by maintaining propellant quality over extended periods. It directly builds upon NASA cryogenic fluid management (CFM) research.

🎙️Final testing, hopefully a quick homologation in Flanders @elonmusk ? Het testen van het Tesla FSD-systeem (Full Self-Driving) zal eerstdaags kunnen starten op de Vlaamse wegen. “Het voertuig zal over ongeveer 5.000 kilometer worden getest om eventuele verschillen met de Nederlandse weginfrastructuur en verkeersregels te evalueren. Als de resultaten positief zijn, kan snel werk worden gemaakt van een voorlopige Europese typegoedkeuring die geldig is op het volledige Belgische grondgebied”. Si tras ver esto no se entiende qué significa para la humanidad el FSD de Tesla, nada lo hará.

@Masterplan2018 @yonki_mercados Tienes el Edinburgh Worldwide Investment Trust cotizando en bolsa y con un 20% de su cartera invertida en SpaceX. Mucha gente no lo conoce pero no es mala opción para ganar exposición previa a la IPO, yo es la única que encontrado.

¡Buena reflexión! Pero ahora la siguiente pregunta sería, ¿vale la pena vender acciones de Tesla si podemos acceder a la IPO? ¿Qué opinas?
Elon Musk ha afirmado que los antiguos accionistas de Tesla tendremos ventajas para acceder a la IPO. Pero después de hacer los cálculos, al menos para mí, esa posibilidad no es viable, al estar prácticamente all-in en $TSLA y dedicar mi liquidez sistemáticamente a ir aumentando la posición.
La mayoría de mis acciones son de 2018 y 2019, compradas entre 12$ y 22$. Deshacerme de ellas me convertiría en el mejor amigo de Hacienda. Descontando el pago de esa amistad, casi 1/4 del capital vendido, quedaría entrar a la IPO, con unos rumores de valoraciones recientes de $1,75B. Es posible que los primeros días de cotización suba, en dos semanas entrará en el Nasdaq. Pero también es posible que después corrija... y eso sin tener en cuenta la marcha de los mercados.
Así que, sabiendo que la fusión entre ambas es una cuestión de tiempo, a mí solo me queda esperar. Llevo desde 2019 queriendo invertir en SpaceX, hablé con mucha gente para conseguirlo pero no lo logré. Ahora solo faltan meses. Me puedo conformar, y más con el aliciente de no vender ninguna de mis acciones de Tesla.
