@pommyinozYT He's got a valuable role to play. Needs to be used cleverly. Voss has a one dimensional game plan that (predictably) gets shut down every wk & everyone blames Crippa. Play him at half forward and use his strength to mark or get the ball to ground. Drop Kemp & Harry if need be.

Starting Cripps on the bench in the second term has proven to be a fucking disastrous call.
Dominated the centre bounce like few players can in the first, is off the ground when play resumes and the Crows seize the initiative and momentum.

@maluckyday99 @zeezou90 Correct. Cripps is still good at his strengths. Problem is we have 0 decent players around him. Bar maybe Walsh. But he doesn’t use the ball well enough for the type of player he is.

Kozi and Gawn can't be replicated - competitive advantage every game. We had that for a period with Cripps but that's now our disadvantage.
Our players sadly don't have the mental ability to stick to their task for 3qtrs, it would take a generational coach to fix this squad.

Harry McKay worries me. There’s nowhere to hide in this Carlton team right now, and we desperately need a key forward to stand up. The spotlight’s on him and so far, he’s been disappointing.

Cripps has won the ball (his primary role since he walked into the afl). Where is his outside support? Half back flankers? Walsh?

FWIW I thought Voss was a shitful coach at Brisbane and he has proven to be worse at Carlton. Hated the decision when we signed him. Nothing has changed.
