Every game publisher should be required to ship a playable build of their game on the physical disc. If you're buying physical media, it should actually function without mandatory downloads. Some consumer protection agency should enforce that.

CALL OF DUTY DELETED 2 YEARS OF YOUR WORK! You may not have noticed, but everybody’s stats on TWO mainline AAA CODs that are only 4 years old (MWII & MWIII) appear to have been completely wiped with zero warning or explanation.
