Carlos Prates says he's down to welcome Ilia Topuria to 170 👀 "I'm thinking of getting the belt and then asking Topuria if he wants to come to 170. Let's do this, let's dance. It's a super fight, money fight." (via @arielhelwani)

@espnmma @TheJGMMA @bokamotoESPN RAF’s poster child! He is done with the beatings. To be honest after losing to Buckley and then Brady beating Buckley Covington is barely a top 15 fighter.

@BarnhillBros I’m definitely still stoked for the fight, but they are clearly not in the business of just putting the best fighters against one another. There is definitely a consideration for numbers and entertainment.

Jon’s last fight HAS to be against one of these 3, Dana White being cheap costs so many super fights

@HappyPunch @MostVpromotions Is Jones vs Ngannou more appealing then Jones vs Aspinall or Jones vs Pereira? Who would you want to see Jon fight if he does return for one more?

@DrMandoleenee @HappyPunch @MostVpromotions I think Netflix is in the business of anything to make money. Jones vs Ngannou would do numbers and put this event to shame. I don’t think the UFC would allow that to happen. I think they would be more willing to let Ngannou come back rather than letting Jon go.

@MatTalkMMA @HappyPunch @MostVpromotions No interest. Jon was about his arthritis and all his new businesses again. He’s locked tf in with the UFC and they seem to have no interest in booking anything for him. I also don’t think Netflix in the end would be interested in doing business with Jon Jones.

Jon Jones said he wants to get out of his UFC contract to fight Francis Ngannou 😳 “I don’t think Dana’s interested in doing business with Francis. If we can get out of my contract, that’d be great.” (via @MostVpromotions)

@RGIII Jon Jones because he will wrestle Ngannou to hell. Plus, Ngannou lost to Stipe Miocic and Derrick Lewis… It also doesn’t help Ngannou vs Lewis was one of the most boring fights in UFC history.

@OscarPen5 @BlindBearMedia I don’t disagree with you but I still don’t feel like that makes a good case for anything. Perry beat up a scar tissue punching bag in Nate Diaz and it got stopped due to the cut. I’m not sure Perry gets back into the top 15 but I think he could still win a fight in the UFC.

Safe to say the first Netflix MVP card as a big FAILURE❌ ZERO compelling or competitive matchups on the main card #RouseyCarano

@ThatCageMathGuy I feel like Holloway will dance around him all night touching him up, my only concern is related to knockout power with Max.

@DamonMartin They better make competitive fights otherwise this will be a short run. Although it was labeled “sold out” the empty seats visible on the screen and the lack of pop from fans in post fight interviews was very evident.

I truly hope MVP sticks around MMA and Netflix remains interested in promoting these events. But what we saw tonight, there's only so many big names out there and you have to eventually make compelling, competitive fights. Can they do it? We shall see #RouseyCarano

Reality is she had a hard time swallowing the two loss skid at the end of her career after being on top of the mountain and getting media attention. She wanted to get in there to mentally get right and leave on a high note and collect a check while doing it. Although, it’s phony I must admit it’s a good business transaction.

@MMAdamMartin Main event felt so performative and the fact that this was an event that you could bet on especially the main event seems so fraudulent. It felt like the easiest card to bet on just based on the lopsided matchups. Especially, in the last three fights.

Main event was a bit of a con. Feels weird to see Gina lose in 17 seconds and then smile and laugh it off afterwards. But overall, I really liked this card. Tons of great finishes. The prelims were great too. Very interested to see what's next for MMA on Netflix. #RouseyCarano

@BlindBearMedia Dana will have a field day with this. That’s if he even acknowledges it at all. UFC makes competitive fights and makes matchups that are stylistically entertaining. Netflix better step it up, if they even decide to try again.
