The difference is this time instead of the UK warring with Germany it’s directly warring with the U.S. and instead of a kinetic war the battle has shifted to the economic realm. And yes, it’s only a matter of time before things shift from economic to kinetic. But the difference is the same globalization that raised China to manufacturing workshop of the world is the globalization that made China highly reliant on the existing financial rails to power its societal structure. If we decouple the CCP likely won’t last a decade.
