In an era of projects drowning in npm packages installed by AI, there’s something satisfying in deleting react-modal and replacing it with a native <dialog> implementation 🧘‍♂️

And I have no clue what is going on with dotLottie & WASM. I'm afraid they might have used a language with huge overhead which created tons of web-assembly instructions and resulted in huge WASM file 🫠

Network set to 3G, browser cache disabled, I've ran the pages couple of times to avoid cold-start on CloudFlare ☁️ side. To be honest, I'm surprised how quickly Lottie with JSON file loads! Just 2x slower than native CSS solution.

Regarding my tool to generate timing functions for CSS animations, I did a bit of testing with Lottie to see how long the initial load takes until animation is visible & running
