Today, I walked out of KMS for the last time—filled with emotions and plenty of tears. To help me close this incredible chapter, here’s a look back at some of my favorite memories as a proud KMS Cougar. 🐾❤️

For the past two years @MathWithMissE and I have taught Double staffed math together and everyday we say words of affirmations with our kiddos. It’s a bittersweet thing to say goodbye but we know all of our kiddos will do great! #KMSCougarPRIDE

After 13 incredible years, it’s time to say goodbye to a place that has been so much more than just where I worked—it’s been home. ❤️🖤🐾 I’m beyond excited for my next chapter in New Caney ISD as an instructional coach, but I’m leaving a piece of my heart at KMS. 💔

My 6th graders put on their teacher hats today and created anchor charts to teach MULTI-STEP INTEGER OPERATION problems! They were dropping knowledge like pros — equations, color coding, and even some ✨attitude✨! Math class? More like Math Masterclass! ➕➖➗🧠 #KMScougarPRIDE

Students worked at their own pace today solving integer operations—some even leveled up to 7th grade rational number problems! Loved watching them use the @swivl mirror to explain their thinking and take charge of their learning. #StudentVoice #MathInAction #KMSCougarPRIDE

It’s 6th grade Math STAAR day, and we came dressed for belief! Wearing the affirmations our students say daily, we became walking billboards of encouragement: You are smart. 🧠 You are brave. 🦁 You can do hard things. 💪 I believe in you! ✨ Let’s go, 6th grade! #WeBelieveInYou

Day 7 of STAAR Review had us feeling like we were in the Mushroom Kingdom! Students powered up on the Cambium website, collected coins, and jumped over tricky math problems like pros! It’s-a-me… MATHIO! Let’s-a goooo! Coins: ✅ Problems Solved: ✅ Fun Level: 100%
