This was the test taken by Terrence Tao, arguably the greatest mathematician alive in 1983 at the age of 7! How many can you solve mentally ?

TMC ruled 15 years so there was anti incumbency and they lost OKAY 👍 DMK ruled 05 years so there was anti incumbency and they lost OKAY 👍 LEFT ruled 10 years so there was anti incumbency and they lost OKAY 👍 Then why there wasn't anti incumbency against BJP in Bihar after ruling 20 years & in MP after 22 years? Why all such trends and labels stick against opposition and never go against BJP?

Went to a friend's house in Mumbai. Each flat there is worth at least Rs. 4 crores (a new one in that locality will cost Rs. 6 crores). The watchman was missing....and I just saw him coming in. I had time so I chatted. He was a BRAHMIN from Bihar. No that is not the tweet. He had gone to relive himself -AT A NEARBY garden which had a loo. This building did not have a loo for him, he had a broken plastic chair (some had me down cushions kept it company), and a much used 2 litre bisleri bottle. He got it filled from a nearby garden. 12 hour shifts, and a grand salary (what he got from the agency) was Rs. 17000. What is WRONG with us?

@ThamizhTharmar I am from north India. I don't believe in bashing of any caste. But one thing I have noticed in India that lots of useless and disgusting things get normalised in the name of tradition or culture. Any person will feel like puking seeing naked sweaty people serving meals.

Just came back from a so-called "traditional" Brahmin wedding. The food looked decent at first, but when shirtless Brahmin guys started serving it sweaty, no shirts, just dhotis and sacred threads I completely lost my appetite. Felt disgusting to even sit there. Left the plate half-full and walked out. Is this "culture" or just poor hygiene passed off as tradition? Never eating at these events again.

@piyushbodaa Nope, In India decentralized structures are worse. Compare: Municipal school vs. KV State Highway vs. National Municipal hospital vs. Central Quality of life in Union territories vs. state capitals Local corruption vs. national More decentralization more corruption

All prosperous countries have one thing in common, they are all decentralised Decentralisation works across all political and economical models United States - Decentralised China - Decentralised Singapore - Decentralised Switzerland - Decentralised In China, 51% of the total government spending is controlled at the city level, 27% in the US, whereas in India it is mere 3% This makes India far more centralised than nearly all countries in the world. Why are we so obsessed about centralised spending of money from Delhi ? Why can't we decentralise ?

@piyushbodaa For people in the comments - Decentralisation doesn't mean terrorism and instability will increase, because the core institutions (home security, foreign affairs, national highways etc) will be handled at centre leaving the administrative and executive duties to states.

@piyushbodaa in India decentralization is more risky. There is muscle power involved at local level. It will create fiefdoms and caste oligarchs who will loot everything and nobody will be able to question them. Lots of small scale journalists have been killed for exposing corruption.

Odisha was always expected to be better. It underperformed earliar. But, Assam will cross PCI Pretty soon. Then, in 10 years, bengal will be fighting Bihar for last position.
Frontier Indica@frontierindica

Didi really dropped the ball on economic growth. Neighbouring states like Assam and Odisha, which used to be much poorer historically, are now overtaking West Bengal economically. She has clearly been unable to deliver on jobs or development.

@sreemoytalukdar I am from India but Pakistan is definitely a military match of India which is quite shameful for us. We have 8 times defense budget, better education still outgunned by such a tiny irritating artificial.nation.

Indians losing their balance at Trump praising Pakistan should take a deep breath and remember the 2018 post on Twitter when Trump accused Pakistan of lies, deceit and sucking the US dry. Trump has no sense of integrity or allegience. He does what he thinks will serve him the best at a given situation. His remarks are not policy. Keep calm and focus diligently on securing our interests. We shouldn't waste time and energy feeling insecure over an adversary that is not our match, and never will be. The govt at the Centre understands this. You should too.

@Tushar15 @Tushar15 I have one question. Currently the proposal is to increase the number of seats for every state by 50%. How will this problem be solved? eg: 50k will become 25k and 35 lakh will become around 18 lakh but the difference will still remain the same.

Those who say why we need delimitation, or increase Lok Sabha MPs, this graphic is for you. Our smallest LS constituency has 50,000 electors (not voters), and our biggest has 37.80 lakh electors. Bangalore North, a critical growth hub, has 32.15 lakh electors. THINK!

@PIB_India How long will this % last? What if delimitation happens in a month and then the % changes in the process? Last 2 times the extension was very clear 25 years each. Can this illiterate rowdy HM clarify for how long the percentage will be maintained?

The biggest narrative being created is that these three bills, the Constitution Amendment Bill, the two laws on delimitation, and the changes to constituency election laws, will harm the power of the #South. Karnataka has 28 seats, which is 5.15% of the 543 seats in the House. After the passage of the bill, the number of MPs from Karnataka will increase from 28 to 42, and its share in the Lok Sabha will rise to 5.44%. Karnataka will not suffer any loss at all. Andhra Pradesh has 25 seats, which is 4.60%. After the passage of the bill, the number of MPs will increase from 25 to 38, making it 4.65%. Telangana has 17 seats, which is 3.13%. After the passage of the bill, the number of MPs will increase from 17 to 26, making it 3.18%. Tamil Nadu has 49 seats, which is 7.18%. After the passage of the bill, the number of MPs will increase to 59, and its share in the new House of 816 will be 7.23%. Tamil Nadu will also suffer no loss. Kerala has 20 seats, which is 3.68%. After the passage of the bill, the number of MPs will increase to 30, and their share in the new House will be 3.67%. If we consider the entire narrative about the South, currently, 129 MPs from these states sit in the House out of 543 seats, which is approximately 23.76%. In the new House, 195 MPs will represent these states, and their share will be 23.97%. - Union Home Minister @AmitShah in Lok Sabha
