@Amockx2022 Because in Bihar the opposition party was of Lalu clan. Why would any self respecting bihari vote for those casteist thugs ?
English

TMC ruled 15 years so there was anti incumbency and they lost
OKAY 👍
DMK ruled 05 years so there was anti incumbency and they lost
OKAY 👍
LEFT ruled 10 years so there was anti incumbency and they lost
OKAY 👍
Then why there wasn't anti incumbency against BJP in Bihar after ruling 20 years & in MP after 22 years?
Why all such trends and labels stick against opposition and never go against BJP?
English

@AyushKumar291 @drex_v @GopeshKhetan @ZZinjiber any website where one can get assembly wise religion or caste data ?
English

@ar29385859 @AnilYadavmedia1 Nothing wrong in that. If muslims can vote on religion, hindus also have every right to. Caste se kya hoga, safety ki baat aati hai to koi jati kaam nhi aati.
English

@AnilYadavmedia1 majority hindu bjp ko vote krte h bhai
.mai bihar election m v ye dekha...log jaate the rjd ki rally m aur bolte the bhai jana pdta h bhaukl bnane k liye aur vote bjp ko de aate the...yhi same Bengal m v hua h..phle jsa nhi h ki hindu ko kuch v bolo phir v vote mil jyga asa nhi h

@KYadubansh63517 @thebiharoffice Kya bakwas hai..agar kisi jati ke log gundagardi jyada karenge to jail aur encounter bhi unka hi jyada hoga. No hate for yadavs but their reputation is such. Baat baat pe ladai karne aa jate hain.
हिन्दी

@thebiharoffice Aur tm itna hi likhna kisi cast ke bare me jitna seh skte ho bhai mere nhi to pariwar bhi nhi royega tmhre liye time aane pe ...aur kabhi newspaper utha ke dekho kitna murder kon krta hai kis caste ka apradhi jyada hai Anant singh jija h ya Tmhre mummy ka bhtar

@pvsubramanyam No hate to any caste, but same gentleman when in bihar might behave inhumane to someone earning higher than him but lower caste. This shows the misplaced ego in bihar culture.
English

Went to a friend's house in Mumbai. Each flat there is worth at least Rs. 4 crores (a new one in that locality will cost Rs. 6 crores). The watchman was missing....and I just saw him coming in. I had time so I chatted. He was a BRAHMIN from Bihar. No that is not the tweet. He had gone to relive himself -AT A NEARBY garden which had a loo. This building did not have a loo for him, he had a broken plastic chair (some had me down cushions kept it company), and a much used 2 litre bisleri bottle. He got it filled from a nearby garden. 12 hour shifts, and a grand salary (what he got from the agency) was Rs. 17000.
What is WRONG with us?

@shydev69 Which documents they ask for ? Also do they ask for parents docs also ?

@mktyaggi To jhandu ye koi khus hone ki baat hai
Pakistan mein kitne thakur aur yadav hain..wahan akad kyun nhi dikhate jakar ?

@RishiJoeSanu This is a failed design already proven. Students at corners will feel and develop neck pain.

While Gujarat builds semiconductors and Bangalore does deep tech, this is the kind of innovation that happens in Kerala.

@ThamizhTharmar I am from north India. I don't believe in bashing of any caste. But one thing I have noticed in India that lots of useless and disgusting things get normalised in the name of tradition or culture. Any person will feel like puking seeing naked sweaty people serving meals.
English

Just came back from a so-called "traditional" Brahmin wedding.
The food looked decent at first, but when shirtless Brahmin guys started serving it sweaty, no shirts, just dhotis and sacred threads
I completely lost my appetite. Felt disgusting to even sit there. Left the plate half-full and walked out. Is this "culture" or just poor hygiene passed off as tradition?
Never eating at these events again.
English

@ri5shi @IndexBihar Jis area me township bnaega waha ka land buy ya sell nahi kar sakte.
Eesti

Bihar Cabinet enforces temporary freeze on township land activities
All purchase, sale, transfer, development and construction in notified township areas are now restricted.
📍 Till March 31, 2027: Patna, Sonepur, Gaya, Darbhanga, Saharsa, Purnea, Munger
📍 Till June 30, 2027: Muzaffarpur, Chhapra, Bhagalpur, Sitamarhi (Sitapuram)
A move aimed at planned and regulated urban development.

English

@gemsofbabus_ can someone who has experience with both the cities tell me ? How does Patna compare with Kanpur in infrastructure and cleanliness ?
English

Kanpur Mayor Pramila Pandey visited Israel to understand town planning. 🤣🤣🤣
I won’t sugarcoat it, I’ll be honest. Kanpur is literally the Dirtiest City I’ve seen in India so far, with Zero Town Planning. 🙏

#YeThikKarkeDikhao@YTKDIndia
Meet Kanpur Mayor Pramila Pandey. She has been the Mayor of Kanpur since 2017. Let’s see what Kanpur actually looks like under her nearly decade-long tenure. An explosive thread 🧵
English

@ayomip01 @piyushbodaa you are absolutely correct. only a dumb and impractical person will recommend more decentralization in a corrupt country like India.
English

@piyushbodaa Nope, In India decentralized structures are worse.
Compare:
Municipal school vs. KV
State Highway vs. National
Municipal hospital vs. Central
Quality of life in Union territories vs. state capitals
Local corruption vs. national
More decentralization more corruption
English

All prosperous countries have one thing in common, they are all decentralised
Decentralisation works across all political and economical models
United States - Decentralised
China - Decentralised
Singapore - Decentralised
Switzerland - Decentralised
In China, 51% of the total government spending is controlled at the city level, 27% in the US, whereas in India it is mere 3%
This makes India far more centralised than nearly all countries in the world. Why are we so obsessed about centralised spending of money from Delhi ?
Why can't we decentralise ?

English

@shivamsidd90954 @piyushbodaa corruption will increase to insane levels. Decentralization is good only if you have the strongest possible checks on them.
English

@piyushbodaa For people in the comments -
Decentralisation doesn't mean terrorism and instability will increase, because the core institutions (home security, foreign affairs, national highways etc) will be handled at centre leaving the administrative and executive duties to states.
English

@piyushbodaa in India decentralization is more risky. There is muscle power involved at local level. It will create fiefdoms and caste oligarchs who will loot everything and nobody will be able to question them. Lots of small scale journalists have been killed for exposing corruption.
English

@Brahmin_OP @avs_IND Yes..fragment yourself and claim that we will be better and stronger due to this fragmentation.
English

@guptanumis @DataGuyRedux Bihar is in eastern India. Also Bihar is slowly but progressing well.
English

@DataGuyRedux Assam has crossed WB..the sick child of east is WB and of north is Bihar.....even 36garh has higher PCI than WB.....happens on a jihadi rules as the CM of a state!!

English

Odisha was always expected to be better. It underperformed earliar.
But, Assam will cross PCI Pretty soon. Then, in 10 years, bengal will be fighting Bihar for last position.
Frontier Indica@frontierindica
Didi really dropped the ball on economic growth. Neighbouring states like Assam and Odisha, which used to be much poorer historically, are now overtaking West Bengal economically. She has clearly been unable to deliver on jobs or development.
English

@sreemoytalukdar I am from India but Pakistan is definitely a military match of India which is quite shameful for us. We have 8 times defense budget, better education still outgunned by such a tiny irritating artificial.nation.
English

Indians losing their balance at Trump praising Pakistan should take a deep breath and remember the 2018 post on Twitter when Trump accused Pakistan of lies, deceit and sucking the US dry.
Trump has no sense of integrity or allegience. He does what he thinks will serve him the best at a given situation. His remarks are not policy.
Keep calm and focus diligently on securing our interests. We shouldn't waste time and energy feeling insecure over an adversary that is not our match, and never will be.
The govt at the Centre understands this. You should too.
English

@abhay699singh @Tushar15 Obviously it won't solve. BJP is getting blackmailed by Tamilnadu Nadu or south. Any factor other than population is bogus.
English

@chakradarraju @PIB_India Why should anything be set in stone. ? Tomorrow situation may change. All states are getting TFR reduced.
English

@PIB_India How long will this % last?
What if delimitation happens in a month and then the % changes in the process?
Last 2 times the extension was very clear 25 years each. Can this illiterate rowdy HM clarify for how long the percentage will be maintained?
English

The biggest narrative being created is that these three bills, the Constitution Amendment Bill, the two laws on delimitation, and the changes to constituency election laws, will harm the power of the #South.
Karnataka has 28 seats, which is 5.15% of the 543 seats in the House. After the passage of the bill, the number of MPs from Karnataka will increase from 28 to 42, and its share in the Lok Sabha will rise to 5.44%. Karnataka will not suffer any loss at all.
Andhra Pradesh has 25 seats, which is 4.60%. After the passage of the bill, the number of MPs will increase from 25 to 38, making it 4.65%.
Telangana has 17 seats, which is 3.13%. After the passage of the bill, the number of MPs will increase from 17 to 26, making it 3.18%.
Tamil Nadu has 49 seats, which is 7.18%. After the passage of the bill, the number of MPs will increase to 59, and its share in the new House of 816 will be 7.23%. Tamil Nadu will also suffer no loss.
Kerala has 20 seats, which is 3.68%. After the passage of the bill, the number of MPs will increase to 30, and their share in the new House will be 3.67%.
If we consider the entire narrative about the South, currently, 129 MPs from these states sit in the House out of 543 seats, which is approximately 23.76%. In the new House, 195 MPs will represent these states, and their share will be 23.97%.
