@CarlowWeather Why do we keep getting told weather records are getting broken but it never actually feels it? I had to wear my jacket every day in may bar a few days at the end of the month, it's June now and the jacket is back on.

Spring 2026 was third warmest on record! It may not have felt it, especially early in May when we had that biting windchill but the extreme heat for end of May drove the average up. It was drier in South and East but wetter in West. I’m just sharing the official data so don’t shoot the messenger!
