I haven’t given my bass guitars much love on here. Back when I played in @Vayden, my go-to bass was a 2005 Warwick Corvette Hot Rod 5 string. It was the perfect bass for modern rock, and I still play it quite often.

@TruckinEricN Yes made in Japan. Love that era of Strat too!

@MathiasDubbins So if it's an 85, would that be assembled in Japan? I have a post-CBS era Japanese Strat that is priceless to me.

@MathiasDubbins Nice! If the S1 bridge is not all corroded (most are nowadays), soaking the entire unit in 3in1 oil will keep it in great shape and very functional. Aside from the dissimilar metal, Fender Japan made a great bridge with those.

The Fender Katana was produced from 1985-1987 and intended to compete with the Randy Rhoads Jackson, but flopped and was discontinued

I normally prefer to go the analog route but decided to pick up a PX-1 Plugout for the experimental board. I’m liking the versatility so far. Has anyone else messed with one of these or have any pointers?

This is an extremely poor take, there are certain vehicles so rare that the only way to tap into that nostalgia is to own a replica. Nothing wrong with a replica classic Ferrari or Shelby Cobra.
