Powerful and credible, Mr. President. Growing up in a home with domestic abuse gives your words real moral force: you’d have turned Epstein in yourself and demanded real justice—not some sweetheart deal. Too bad this Republican committee can’t muster the same consistency. Their selective outrage is transparent theater. When do we get the sworn deposition from the guy who actually called Epstein a “terrific guy,” flew on that plane multiple times, and installed the prosecutor who cut the original sweetheart deal? This isn’t oversight. It’s a partisan spectacle. The victims deserve better.

As someone who grew up in a home with domestic abuse, not only would I not have flown on his plane if I had any inkling of what he was doing—I would have turned him in myself and led the call for justice for his crimes, not sweetheart deals.

I got a feeling the American people want their money back.
