fujimoto falls into the same trap as (nominally) anti-war filmmakers that by consequence of needing to make an appealing narrative and images, they glorify war in some way. basically, you cant really have your hype aura moments and condemn them at the same time

Dragon Ball Z objectively has one of the worst dubs ever lmao
Half of it, especially the namek saga, has extremely cringy and amateur voice acting. Its littered with nonsensical and character altering script changes. Has caused countless misconceptions in the fandom
Its only saving grace Is that Faulconer productions produced some good osts and the buu saga is solid
But we aren't about to call it one of the greatest dubs of all time as even Sabat and Schemmel themselves outright will tell you Kai is a better dub

Bleach, Death Note, Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, FMAB, YuYu Hakusho are the absolute best English dubs in anime. These are ones I prefer to watch in English dub every time

@DAQUANDSG @unrivaledsniper I watch dragon ball / z in dub but preferred Super in sub too. Sean Schemmel didn’t give Goku black the godly elegance that Masako Nazawa gave him in my opinion.
