@Ayoolafelix It depends what you want to achieve of course, but I find that I spend less time programming for fonts than I do drawing them. So a good drawing software such as @glyphsapp is essential and there are a few plugins (RMX, Speedpunk, Kern-On) which are essential for large families.

@MathieuLoutre Thanks Matthieu. Asides from Python, what additional tools would you advice a beginner to wield for type design?

@Floutre It seems the Polish designers at @capitalics_wtf don't include the Z stroke in their character set and hyperglot.rosettatype.com doesn't include it as part of the language support for Polish. Seems like you'll be ok without it.

Looking for Polish-speaking people help ! We have a font with all polish alphabet letters EXCEPT the Z with stroke Ƶ (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Z_with_st…). Given it is an allographic variant of Z and Ż, is it necessary to have it ? or can we write polish without ever using the Ƶ ?

4/5 Our initial findings showed sharing a digital space improves the feeling of togetherness. However we had introduce what we call "shared history" to make this work asynchronously. It's inspired by how offices work and you can read more on the website rig.rd.labs.bbc/offices-asynch…
