@amy_krambeck Urolift is now not a procedure of choice

I am fairly certain these clips were contributing to the irritative voiding symptoms this patient with a 160 cc prostate was experiencing. This person needed the last surgery first —> #HoLEP

@PanugantiVivek Two sittings of FANS RIRS. May even need three sittings to get complete clearance.
Proper documentation for possible complications secondary to long operating hours in ureter.

Have been getting calls from many unknown numbers since past 3 days, the callers allege they received a missed call from me, though I had not called any of them. What to do to prevent this harassment ? @tncybercrimeoff @DoT_India @MathisekaranT @sanprinarch @NazarethSolomon

My first #supinepcnl in practice.
Just sharing the experience.
Initially I was uncomfortable.
In supine
- System appears less dilated
- Tract is longer
- Collecting stones is slightly difficult
- Fear of bowel was in mind
- Happiest was the anaesthetist

@dr_co0l Few superspecialities and specialties are better in few selected corporate hospitals than so called premier institutes.
Apollo chennai is one such an example for Pulmonology, critical care, urology, emergency medicine.
AIG Hyderabad for SGE and MGE
AINU Banjara Hills for Uro

A commendable move towards inclusive healthcare led by our Hon'ble CM Thalaivar @mkstalin, as the State Health Department opens the first ART center at Egmore Govt Hospital. Providing free IVF treatments to couples in need is truly a beacon of hope for those facing fertility challenges.

As some brilliant wag also put it: Not the Indian A team, not the Indian B team, but the Indian H1B team!
Shahzeb Khan@theshahzebkhan
This USA World Cup team has Indians, Pakistanis, Sri Lankans and even a Nepali. Never in my wildest imaginations did I think I’d see a USA team that represents Akhand Bharat.

@SudiptoDoc The last paragraph that you have wrote is a harsh truth. I have seen many elderly parents alone in the ER during my urology residency days. 75 year old lady accompanies a 80 year old gentleman and vice versa, and a prompt call from US/UK at 3 am.
English

The kids of friends, relatives and acquaintances that I saw grow up around me are leaving the shores one by one.
A close friend’s daughter went to the US for an engineering degree, as did another close friend’s son. His daughter is already in US pursuing higher studies. A friend’s son is in the UK. Another’s son in Canada. A friend’s daughter is pursuing a medical degree in Ireland, and another friend’s daughter is doing a nursing degree in Australia. These are just a few examples.
All these families come from the very baselines of middle class. Modest backgrounds, simple upbringing. Belief in hard work and the dignity of labour. No generational wealth to brag of. Yet, somehow, they are all doing their utmost best to send the kids abroad, knowing very well that they’d probably never come back to India for pursuing a career.
For the middle classes of tier II and tier III cities, foreign education for kids is quickly becoming as aspirational as owning a 4BHK or a luxury car, or going for a two week long Europe trip with family.
Is it the hopelessness of acquiring employable skills, competition for merit based jobs and insecurities surrounding entrepreneurship that’s driving families to invest their life’s savings in securing a foreign degree for their kids?
Is it the snarling traffic, the congested roads, the stray dogs and cattle, the garbage at street corners and the daily scramble to commute that’s making people decide against settling their kids in India?
Or is it the corruption, the serial paper leaks, the crippling heat and dust, the erratic power supplies, the struggle for parking, the skyrocketing rentals and the perceived issues of dignity and safety the main reasons of this rapid rise in young brain drain.
Whatever the reasons may be, the middle class nuclear families of our times are preparing for the loneliness that awaits a few years down the line. As the kids settle abroad, the parents would have to live a life surrounded by hardships and silenced memories.
