🙏 A huge thank you to the five schools who took part in this action research project with @NWmathshub3: @Blueberryparkuk @StGregoryCEVCP @olwprimary @PopeFrancisCMAT Your openness, reflection and commitment to improving maths teaching made this work possible. 🌟 We set out to determine if using both programmes – Mathematics Mastery Primary and Mastery Readiness – could accelerate the benefits for schools. Together, we’re building a stronger evidence base for what works in the classroom. Read the report: ow.ly/BWWO50Yz1X5 #primarymaths #edresearch #mathsteaching #mathsmastery #teachingformastery

“Children are a lot more positive.” “The structure is helping us build confidence and consistency.” “It’s not more work, it’s better work.” Just some of the reflections from teachers involved in our action research with @NWmathshub3, which looked at the impact of schools in a Mastery Readiness work group joining Mathematics Mastery Primary at the same time. Effective maths teaching isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing it better. What does effective maths improvement look like in practice? Our action research with @NWmathshub3 reinforces a simple but powerful idea: 👉 Impact comes from alignment. Mathematics Mastery Primary and the NW3 Maths Hub Mastery Readiness work group have shared principles. Doing both together meant schools got even more: ➡️ Curriculum and teaching resources ➡️ Specialist support ➡️ Coordinated CPD ➡️ Peer-to-peer encouragement This wasn’t about adding work. It was about accelerating the journey to teaching for mastery, and all the benefits that brings, together. Explore the findings: ow.ly/FExw50YyJau @Blueberryparkuk @StGregoryCEVCP @olwprimary @PopeFrancisCMAT #primarymaths #edresearch #mathsteaching #mathsmastery #teachingformastery
