No, končno. S tem, da je bil primarni cilj, da se Slovenija ne priključi tožbi proti Izraelu pred ICJ. Sekundarni cilj pa pomoč desnim strankam, da zmagajo in oblikujejo koalicijo, ki bo naklonjena Izraelu. Toda udarilo je nazaj in zdaj je vprašanje, ali bo to Janšo in desno sredino stalo zmage na volitvah. Pa so imeli zmago v rokah.

Na današnji seji @vladaRS smo obravnavali predlog, da se 🇸🇮Slovenija pridruži tožbi Republike Južne Afrike proti Izraelu na Meddržavnem sodišču v Haagu. Močno obžalujem, da predlog ni dobil potrebne podpore. @strankaSD smo predlog podprli, saj verjamemo, da sta spoštovanje mednarodnega prava in zaščita civilnega prebivalstva temelj odgovorne zunanje politike.

Our common message to @vonderleyen is clear: you cannot condemn Putin for violating international law, while remaining silent when Trump and Netanyahu disregard those same rules. International law cannot be invoked selectively, depending on who the violator is.

When the Trump administration sanctions ICC judges, it attacks international justice & the rule of law. The US must remove its sanctions. The Commission should act to counteract this US attack. It's time to activate the Blocking Statute and stand up for international justice now.

Violations of international law must never be accepted - whether in Ukraine, Greenland, Latin America, Africa, Gaza or the Middle East.

Your responsibility is to defend it, to demand compliance with the rules, and to stand up to autocrats with concrete actions.
