I have just gone through the VASP Bill and one of the most absurd parts is that Kenya wants to regulate crypto stablecoins. Entry fee: $3.8M(Ksh 500 million.) In a country where M-Pesa does the exact same thing and nobody ever asked Safaricom for Ksh 500M! Is this really regulation or gatekeeping?
