Today, I presided over the Admission of 166 Advocates Ceremony, marking an important milestone in the lives of our newly admitted advocates as they join the noble legal profession in service to justice, constitutionalism, and the rule of law in Kenya. I was pleased to be joined by distinguished leaders and stakeholders in the justice sector, including former Chief Justice Dr. Willy Mutunga; the Chief Registrar of the Judiciary, Hon. Winfridah Mokaya, the Chairperson of the Witness Protection Agency; the President of the Law Society of Kenya, Senior Counsel Charles Njiru Kanjama; and the Acting Director, Kenya School Of Law Isaac Kuloba among other distinguished guests. I appreciate the commendation by justice sector stakeholders on the progress the Judiciary continues to make under the Social Transformation through Access to Justice (STAJ) Blueprint. Through STAJ, we remain committed to building a people-centred Judiciary anchored on efficiency, accountability, integrity, and timely delivery of justice for all Kenyans. The stakeholders acknowledged the Judiciary’s continued efforts in strengthening institutional collaboration and creating an enabling environment for justice sector institutions to effectively discharge their constitutional mandates in service to the people. To the newly admitted advocates, I congratulate you on this remarkable achievement. As you embark on your legal careers, I urge you to uphold integrity, professionalism, courage, and fidelity to the Constitution. Kenya looks to you to defend rights, protect freedoms, and promote justice with compassion and honour. The future of our justice system is stronger because of your admission to the Roll of Advocates.

There is nothing particularly interesting about the reclusive and punishing life of a doctor, hence the disinterest. Nowadays even B- people are going to medical school and becoming doctors so it's not about grades.
