@Xpecial thats interesting bc almost all sites who have supports on build list, like opgg, blitz, meta, ugg or so are all suggesting the gold quints

This is something I would need to dive deeper into later, but gold per 10 quints are excellent in a neutral lane with little fighting, but my experience in classic is that players are a lot more aggressive and playing more loose (partly because there's a huge disparity in skill level, but also because it's a new mode). I wouldn't currently recommend gp10, but it could have be great in a more neutral match-up, like Janna vs Sona for example.

League Classic Tip #1: Focus on completing rune sets for the main champs and roles you want to play. You start with limited resources to purchase runes, so what you spend your first bit of IP on is extremely important to building out your pages. Fortunately, everyone starts with default runes so aim to build off that. Default runes: Marks (reds) - Attack speed marks, Seals (yellows) - Armor (flat) Glyphs (blues) - Cooldown reduction (flat) Quintessences (quints) - 1 attack speed , 1 armor (flat), 1 cooldown reduction (flat)

Runes to buy first: Mage - Magic pen marks > AP quints > MR glyphs > second rune page > HP/level seals Marksman - AD marks > 2 attack speed quints > MR glyphs AD assassin/bruiser - Lethality marks > MR glyphs > second rune page Melee support - MR glyphs > 2 armor or HP quints > armor marks AP support - Magic pen marks > AP quints Enchanter - MR glyphs > AP or HP quints Mini tip: Some rune combos are a trap - for example attack damage marks and attack speed quints give 9 AD and 13.5% ASPD give but attack speed marks and attack damage quints give 6.75 AD and 15.3% ASPD.
