Albertans are in a cost of living crisis. 1 in 3 households in Calgary can’t put food on the table. For weeks, Alberta’s New Democrats have been calling on Danielle Smith and the UCP to drop the provincial gas tax. They’ve refused. At a time when the government is bringing in a windfall from high oil prices, why not give some of that back to hardworking Albertans? Alberta’s New Democrats believe people deserve a break.

The Premier had no problem changing legislation to help out the separatists, but won't lift a finger to help Albertans with the cost-of-living crisis. The UCP government has the opportunity to give Albertans a break, but they'd rather help themselves.

An independent commission did its job and delivered fair electoral maps. But Danielle Smith and the UCP want to ignore them and redraw the map. They think they need to cheat to win. The government should accept those maps, without question. Don’t let them take your vote and your voice.
