@bertsbooks I’m still reading ‘Wuthering Heights’…am I a bad person for not liking Heathcliff OR Cathy? And the death count is off the chart! Am confused at what saw Cathy off btw. Spite? Also reading ‘Becoming Ted’ by @MattCainWriter a good read FULL of likeable characters. Not Giles!

Friends met, protests were made, love was found and much fun was had by so many at #ManchesterPride. It even inspired the setting for my latest novel, ONE LOVE. I’m taking some comfort that on the page at least Manchester Pride will live on ❤️🏳️🌈🐝

I'm devastated to hear that #ManchesterPride has entered liquidation. I was proud to serve as an ambassador for what I thought was the best Pride in the world, a four-day festival that celebrated the long history of acceptance and the rich queer culture of my home city…

@HurwitzStephen Haha thank you! So would I! And I’m glad you like Gloria - she was my fave! X
English

@MattCainWriter I think I've read all your books now, including Nothing But Trouble, and Shot Through the Heart. Smashing and absolutely brilliant! I know you don't write that kind of book anymore but I'd like a book about Lola and Harvey and Gloria in the early days.

@MattCainWriter Hello. I'm reading Shot Through the Heart and almost laughed out loud when I read the words Phat Phuck. Brilliant!

@MattCainWriter I will have to add Ted and Charlie’s stories to my autumn/winter reading pile.
English

@MattCainWriter @bertsbooks @Gayonwye I certainly did! I hope I got the ending right…and, as I was finishing it, I realised that next weekend is Pride in Manchester.

Finished the well written, poignant ‘One Love’ by @MattCainWriter a 20 year relationship between two guys…Danny at the ending? To, slightly, misquote the last line from ‘Sweet Charity’ ‘and he lived hopefully ever after’… @bertsbooks @Gayonwye
