In Melbourne March 7? Make sure you come to Anarchism 2026. The Anarchist Communist Federation will be hosting talks on our workplace organising, current struggles, and revolutionary theory. I’ll be speaking about the Spanish Revolution 90 years on too! ancomfed.org/conf-2026

Another nationwide power outage was just announced in Cuba. Power was out in most of Havana last night. Doing this to 9+ million people is just completely insane.
Ilhan Omar@IlhanMN

We must lift the US oil blockade on Cuba. This is economic warfare designed to suffocate an island. Food is spoiling. Water supply is compromised. Healthcare services are disrupted. End the blockade now. Grateful to all those helping deliver humanitarian aid!

155 years since the Paris Commune. "Overthrown, but not conquered" it stands today not just as inspiring history, but as a rallying cry. 👇🧵

If the communists don’t have the masses support and doesn’t broadly align itself with the majority, which means it will be opposing the militant struggle against the Zionist and American regimes, than yes it should be denounced as chauvinistic. They have to properly engage their

@kaywisehero @jsjxjdndjixjevs @CrimsonSpect0r I'm saying that we shouldn't, as an example, denounce and condemn the Communist Party of Iran for organizing workers and criticizing its government

@elisha1542 John Reeds account has some great stories of snooty academic Marxists shaking their heads at ignorant workers ‘misunderstanding Marxism’ and ‘falling for agents of German imperialism’

@correnterosso it is interesting. and i also do wonder what each individual group's reasoning's are for pricing – ie FSP and ACF have similar frequencies despite large differences. i imagine FSP produces more because they're a global group so maybe they can scale, but the jump is interesting

The @ancomfederation has an Anarchist Political School, which serves as an introduction to the revolutionary ideas and strategies of anarchist communism. You can check out the modules here: ancomfed.org/aps/

@Stayseaok @correnterosso Geelong comrades have had some attempts at community pickets. in MEL we were involved in Unionists for Palestine before it fell apart, but here the community picket wasn’t just lacking involvement from the dock workers — it was actively hostile to them. We couldn’t support that.

@correnterosso Yeh, so what does the fed think about right now? Like, beyond going to work and building radical unions there in order to undo capitalism and the aus-US alliance, whats ancomfeds position on what to do?

@NoLuckLopez The structural element is crucial though - Mundey for example operated in an entirely different context. Any similarity in ‘worldview’ is largely irrelevant.

@MattCrossin His political philosophy and worldview are anything but top down. But look, I get what you’re saying about the structural stuff. All I’m rly saying is that I think they’re some of the good ones — like Jack Mundey was, for example. Bureaucrats who’d vote to limit their own terms.

@MattCrossin Ok fair, but the leadership faction in question has one of the best records in the country for leading militant industrial action, building rank and file democracy and training principled delegates and organizers.

@NoLuckLopez For context, I’m a member. I didn’t say I don’t differentiate - but it is fundamentally a project of a faction of the bureaucracy. There’s sort of an ambition by some involved to reverse engineer a rank and file group, but we should be clear that’s what it is.

@MattCrossin I think that's a pretty bad misreading. Members First is obviously more militant and some of the best organisers and delegates in the country are part of it. The emphasis on democracy is excellent. You don't need to abandon a critique of union bureaucracy to differentiate.
