@Tekeee They did but leaving the men gone after wars they were sold off that being said post feudalism Land was reclaimed as they left the lords and became townsfolk. Post 1971 the currency divergence against earnings made it unexpectedly expensive.

You’re telling me that for me to be born it took 1 dad, 1 mom, 4 grandparents, 8 great‑grandparents, 16great‑great‑grandparents… and NONE of them left me even a single plot of land??

@TheSalesBull1 It costs a small business £47,000 to get someone to do their work for them, that's called wages. Workers should not be expected to work for free. If you can't afford to employ someone, don't. Do the work yourself.

@robbertleusink I often think about how npk nutrient Could have been used in the food systems yet was used for clothing. Like how many potential calories lost for a tunic

Cotton needs ten times more water than flax The Netherlands grew flax for centuries The fabric lasts decades and needs almost no pesticides We dismantled the industry in the 1970s Now we import cotton from the other side of the world and call it sustainable fashion

In the south of France, cherry farmers light fires beneath the trees to keep the frost away. A fragile season protected by flame and a beautiful sight to see.

The problem with modern TV is that the gap between seasons is so long that no one cares about anything anymore. It's been a year since Severance season 2. In the olden days we would already have season 3 by now. But because there's such a massive gap everyone just loses interest.

@POTFES I'm not seeing the problem here. Soil based farming will obviously eventually be a thing in self contained habitat bubbles such as that, where soil quality can be controlled for. Hydrophonics aren't the answer to everything.

End3of6Days9 (Helen) 🇺🇸
This guy juices fresh pomegranates for the first time and realizes he just squeezed out roughly $15 worth of vibrant, seed-free juice… for basically the same price as a $17 bottle at the store. Takes his first sip, goes “Oh my goodness”… Then yeets his glasses across the room in pure disbelief 😭 I'm thinking I need to buy one of these citrus juicers, how about you?
End3of6Days9 (Helen) 🇺🇸@end3of6days9

This girl sees Tropicana on sale for $4.99 and thinks “I can beat that.” She grabs two bags of oranges for $4.98, pulls out the manual juicer, and starts sweet-talking the fruit like “please don’t let me down” 😂 Ends up with almost the exact same amount of juice… but way better taste. I’m sure fresh-squeezed OJ tastes better, but would you really go through all that trouble just to save a penny? 😭

@philerskine @A1an_M to note: there is tens of thousands of varieties of apples, indicating the seeds dont revert like lemons and do produce new varieties of seedling. unlike apricots.

@philerskine @A1an_M it would be a seedling variety of the same variety. depending on pollenation partners from the first growers orchard. yes it could be shite but it could also be awesome 1:100 are winners.

@jardeneria @A1an_M non grafted apples typically take 10+ years to reach reproductive age. even then the first few years fruit sets will be immature. but after that. you cant stop em

A guy in London looked straight into the camera and said what a lot of people are quietly thinking: “I was born here. I remember how it used to be — the energy was fantastic. Now the people are just shells. They’ve been muzzled so much, everything sucked out of them. It’s out of their hands, it’s out of their control. Man, I pray for the UK.” It’s raw, nostalgic, and hits hard if you’ve watched the change over the years. Have you noticed the same shift in energy and spirit in your own city or country? Or do you still feel the old vitality is there, just buried? Your thoughts 👇
