@AdamSalkie All those games for club & country takes its toll … plus teams on a small pitch who play 10 behind the ball are very difficult to break down. Whilst the standard at the top is on decline the weaker teams have improved = tough league 😊

@1cornishblue @AdamSalkie Nope - never been in it for me… the fact that AFC are far from excellent has kept some believing it’s possible. I do believe we are improving but that we have flogged others to get through the difficult injury period…

@AdamSalkie Did you ever think we would win the PL this season? It's been said many times, we're in the middle of a huge rebuild having made a large number of changes. It will take time.

@Komps4 Semenyo is a very good signing and not all flare and highly technical players can thrive in the PL.

We went and signed Semenyo that is literally Darius Vassell with goals. I'd have much rather us gone for Iliman N'Diaye, Kenan Yildiz or Yan Diomande. Much better technicians. We've replaced some elite technicians with absolute cloggers. Not good enough.

@bluemoongramps NG been great for me and I believe the injuries and fitness levels early on have slowed the transition. We had to flog certain players and it’s now showing. The PL is very tough and some will get better next season. The players lost are irreplaceable so always gonna be a drop. 🤷‍♂️

This and last season were transition seasons but if you think stones ake kovatic Rico nunes all need to go plus savinho Doku marmoush Reijnders are limited whilst adding Gonzales who pep doesn’t rate means not only has the transition been poor it needs to start again

Rayan Cherki and Jeremy Doku came on and we look FAR better. No reason to start them on the bench, especially Cherki who’s born to play against low blocks.

Rodri and Bernie, the only two with any real urgency or quality in possession. Haaland, Semenyo and Marmoush, absolutely shocking so far. Doku wins us this game, crying out for some width to link with Ait-Nouri's lovely feet.

Lads who are blaming Pep, he’s set up a team that should be 2-0 up at HT. Semenyo missing a simple chance and Donnarumma getting himself underneath a cross isn’t exactly part of any managers masterplan.

Is there a team - any team - worse than City at corners? No creativity - absolutely clueless. The weird thing is we’ve lost just one out of our last 17 PL games but all the draws from winning positions - Chelsea, Brighton, Spurs, Forest, West Ham - total lack of killer instinct

We lack midfield quality and creative quality on the wings. Screaming for an Olise/Kvaratskhelia profile where they provide consistent creativity and quality of chances. Too many “project” signings.
