@MattGTaylor @bladespod Yeah its where he played for the U21s so not entirely sure why we haven't tried him there at all. I expect him to be involved in the next 2 anyway

@bladespod @Panchero Brooks is a puzzle for me why he doesn’t get any game time at all. I think he’d be a good option to bring on at left back when Burrows is struggling to impact games attacking wise. Played LWB in the prem to good effect some games. Him & Seriki either side when chasing a game

At this stage of the season, being a point outside play offs is outstanding. When Selles left I felt we had enough points to avoid the inevitable slip down the table becoming a relegation. Massive credit to the players and coaching staff to get to where we are. #readingfc

@BladesAnalysis It was only 2 years ago that Bournemouth, Fulham & Forest all stayed up after coming up together; & they look well established prem sides today. The gap does look big now, but it may just take a bit of luck one season where a team has a shocker, like Leicester did under Rodgers

With all 3 promoted teams coming back down it makes you realise if there IS a possibility of being a permenant premier league or if that ships sailed? It seems as though post covid, that gap has only increased in the margins of the game and money that is pumped into the..

@The_Bladesman I feel the formation we play is crying out for some genuine pacey & direct wingers to help change a game or see a game out. BBD, Hamer, JRS & Brooks all have done well there; but if we’re inviting pressure at 1-0 having a genuine pace to stretch & track back would help.

I don't know if they were fitness-related but the Hamer and Cannon subs changed the momentum of the game, but Leeds are just a very very good Championship team. It's why I predicted us to lose, they're better than us by a considerable margin and that's fine, we only need to be better than Burnley to go up. To win we needed to be at our best and catch Leeds on an off day. We had that first half but second half we dropped off and they improved. No need to panic, we've shown already this season that we can put losses behind us quickly. Just need to do it again. #twitterblades #sufc

@bladespod @Panchero When you said we’re not top 2 level as Leeds & Boro games showed, but we are good at seeing other teams off got me thinking. 2 seasons ago we took 5 pts from 18 from the remaining top 4, Burnley,Luton & Boro. Our ability to see off other teams left us top 2 comfortably in the end

@AllThingsBlades Same for Brewster scoring 10 goals in 20 appearances for Swansea just a few months before joining Blades. I do wonder what it would have been like for either of them had we originally got both of them whilst in the Championship. Both came in to a slightly desperate environment
