FINAL: Iowa 75, Maryland 64 The Terps' 2025-26 season is over. A 21-0 second-half Iowa run was too much to come back from. Diggy Coit had 12 points, Solomon Washington had 13 rebounds and Collin Metcalf had 6 points + 7 rebounds in their final collegiate games.

Terps are badly outscrapping the Ducks. They're up 25-13 in rebounds and 8-3 on offensive glass, almost solely due to effort. George Turkson Jr. is playing like the rent's due. He's gone sprawling repeatedly en route to 6 boards — already a career-high with 20 minutes to play.

Maryland leads Oregon, 33-12, at halftime. Not a typo. Oregon had one of the worst halves of basketball you'll ever see. 3-of-22 from the field, and all 3 makes were Nate Bittle layups. But the Terps are contesting nearly everything.

This is an absurd game from Maryland. Playing against an Oregon frontcourt that greatly outsizes its own, the Terps have 8 offensive boards to Oregon's 9 defensive boards. That has them rolling right now.

Brad Underwood said Illinois guard Andrej Stojakovic is battling the flu, and has lost 10 pounds since he got the illness. Stojakovic had 8 points in 19 minutes today. Had 30 points and 9 rebounds against Maryland the last time around.

Collin Metcalf is the last Terp on the court, still signing and autographs and taking photos. Haven’t seen anyone all season stay out there with fans this late. Metcalf has had his ups-and-downs on the court, but the character is unquestionable.

There’s scouts from 7 NBA teams in attendance today, in large part because of star Illinois freshman Keaton Wagler. But they’re being shown redshirt freshman Andre Mills’ deep offensive skillset instead — while he also plays a big role in holding Wagler scoreless thus far.

HALFTIME: No. 11 Illinois 37, Maryland 34 The Terps held up admirably against KenPom's highest-rated offense in the country. Illinois is 4-of-16 from deep, and Keaton Wagler was held completely scoreless. Andre Mills is once again leading the charge with 11 points, but Maryland is getting contributions from up and down the rotation.

This is the loudest I've heard Xfinity Center for an extended period of time in months. Maryland is giving its fans something to be excited about in the final home game of the season. Terps are going step-for-step with No. 11 Illinois. They trail, 51-50, with 12:50 to go.
