This seems like a total copout when all you need to do is put a disclaimer so the customer can decide (if it's allergens you're worried about). Just like you do with your restaurant kitchens here

I respect good journalists (I'm not one of them, hence I don't work in news)

Politicians are highly-media trained which is precisely why the media has to be aggressive when conducting interviews, it's all pretty basic

This isn't lions vs lambs this is precisely how the structure needs to work to function properly

Asking closed questions is actually a really good way to get an interviewee to reveal the truth, its meant to be like that not a PR exercise

The way a good journalist 'fact finds' is by asking leading and probing questions, its Journalism 101. The point of the fourth estate is to check power of elected officials. You're just after confirmation bias 🙀
