@KleInsight Perhaps in a sense they use all information available to come to a decision believed to have better odds? but yes information toward a strategy is different from information towards an expectant outcome to wait upon.

@NWSEN What VR or AR non-technical skills trainers are available for enhancing perception and comprehension in the OR for ODPs? Can they help users to identify cues relating to errors, or give feedback as to why/how such cues are valuable. Is there such a system, would it work?

@NWSEN Ah so augmented info displayed on equipment would direct users to cues on said equipment to check until users do this consistently and reliably to prevent error when in real life?

@MattJPears Trouble with focusing learning on errors is often we don’t understand the system cause and this the error is still seen as the person who needs training 🙁 you can see how this is a loop..

@MattJPears 2/2 so like any learning we need to understand outcomes and design resources - so you could design a resource around distractions (upset training) but the best thing would be to reduce distractions ( but recognise we cannot do that all time) ... HFE is very broad subject

@NWSEN Brilliant thanks. I was thinking in healthcare how HF could optimize immersive content for training. Have you any best practice-type advice for content creators in using HF to design materials, and test validity etc. what HF tools could be universal used to help all XR products?

@MattJPears I’m not #HFcast but my answer would be HF methodologies can be used to understand the weak points in systems and use immersive tech to mitigate some of these - ie comms issues in PPE, test design of unbuilt new buildings etc
