It was a honor having the opportunity to play for Joe Maddon and winning a Championship with him during one of the greatest runs in the history of the Chicago Cubs. I learned a tremendous amount from him and wish him continued success in this game.

Cubs meltdown is nearly complete...can't hold a 6-1 lead at home against the going-nowhere Pirates in a must-win game for division purposes. Qualifying for the playoffs has never been a bad consolation prize for the Cubbies...perhaps until now.
