Help Twitter and Key Stage 1 (particularly year 1) teachers. Are the spellings ‘liquid’, ‘quiz’, ‘quick’ and ‘quiz’ the normal type of spellings for children only two weeks into Year 1? They seem a little ambitious to me.

@jemgillam Thanks. That seems closer to what I’d expect my daughter to be able to manage at this point. Seems quite a gap between the two lists.
