It was great to be able to help residents and Councillors Mohammed Ayub and David Stevens in the Baker Street Area Neighborhood Association litter pick today.

I was pleased to see the Clean Water Bill in yesterday’s King’s Speech which will clean up the water industry by bringing enforcement agencies together under one regulator, and creating a new Water Ombudsman. 🧵1/2

Today’s strong growth figures show the Government has the right economic plan. The choices I have made as Chancellor mean our economy is in a stronger position as we deal with the costs of the war in Iran. Now is not the time to put our economic stability at risk.
