I imagine many are like me and are grieving today. Take that time for yourself, regardless whether a win or a loss, this election cycle has been long and taxing on all of us.

When faced with adversity this country has reverted back to factory settings, racism, sexism, and xenophobia. I am not sure what the next chapter of this country has ahead of it, but as of today, it feels very dark.

My beliefs and my politics are no secret. I am a Democrat who has voted against the current Republican nominee 3 straight times. When people ask me about politics and voting my answer is the same, I want everyone to vote. 🧵

President Biden was the only person who could beat Trump in 2020 and I was proud to vote for him and would have voted for him if he decided to remain in the race. Thank @POTUS for your years of service and it is time to pass the torch to the future of the party
