Dominik Szoboszlai is having one of the most ridiculous all-round seasons you’ll see from a midfielder. 17 G/A but that’s not even the craziest part. He’s done it while playing: RB DM CM RW AM That’s basically every outfield role except CB and ST … and he’s producing in all of them. What makes it special isn’t just versatility it’s the impact. • Long-range rockets • Late box runs • Set-piece danger • Press resistance • Engine to play multiple roles in one match Most players lose output when shifted around. Szoboszlai gets more influential. He’s the definition of a modern system player the kind managers build tactical flexibility around because he lets you change shape mid-game without making a sub. We talk a lot about “complete midfielders” but very few are actually doing it across FIVE positions in a single season. If he keeps stacking numbers like this while being a tactical Swiss Army knife, we’re not talking about a great season anymore… We’re talking about one of the most complete campaigns by a midfielder in recent years.
