Never a dull moment in the world of transformative regulatory policy in #California

@MattSchrap of @HarborTruckers discusses California's zero-emission challenge: 157,000 chargers needed by 2030 for MHD and HHD BE vehicles, statewide. He notes, "The timelines that the state is trying to implement don't line up with reality." How can California bridge this gap?

Alaska Airlines is experiencing an IT outage affecting operations. A temporary ground stop is in place. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you're scheduled to fly tonight, please check your flight status before heading to the airport.

Lloyd Christmas is no fool…(hopefully…lol)… ⁦@CrosbyMaxx⁩ is the heart and soul of this team…as someone who has been a ⁦@Raiders⁩ fan my entire life, I am no stranger to disappointment, but getting rid of the #Condor would be beyond dumb. si.com/nfl/raiders-ma…

@RapidRevolt @Oakland Ok…I will reach out and see if we can get something on the books…still doesn’t change the fact that the OMAST effort is being mischaracterized as removing all safety aspects of the plan…it is literally about safety.

@mattschrap @Oakland @mattschrap We invite you, and anyone else from OMAST, to join community members for a walk and bike ride to learn what is needed to keep us safe from cars and trucks as we travel around our neighborhood Please DM to arrange a day.

We request @Oakland keep street safety a top priority in the Downtown Oakland Specific Plan, and work to reconnect West Oakland with our waterfront Port industries are lobbying to remove safety projects at 1pm today, so we need your support to ensure the safety of Oaklanders

@RapidRevolt @Oakland No one is attempting to kill anything. Again, misrepresenting facts. The proposed shift up to 4th and over to Jefferson and Clay is about safety.

Traffic Violence Rapid Response
@mattschrap @Oakland If OMAST kills safety projects then people will be killed and injured trying to get to their home in Phoenix Lofts, or visit Line 51 for a drink, or on their way to church at Iglesia Maranatha The Port should not be overriding the safety of everyone else in their community!

@prinzrob The route is far from “new”…it is has been an established artery for quite some time… @RapidRevolt has misrepresented the facts for the sake of generating clicks. Pushing bikes and peds into a truck route is not safe…the request is to move the enhancements over 2 blocks.

Oakland's 2019 bike plan said the MLK Jr Way, Market, 3rd St & other JLS bikeway recommendations could be adjusted dependent on the Howard Terminal ballpark plan, which is no longer happening. It did not provide an exception to accommodate a new, overweight semi route.

@StreetsblogSF Nice try….you and your headline are “making stuff up”…y’all shirking responsibility and attempting misdirection is not shocking, but definitely disappointing. Perpetuating falsehoods for the sake of clicks is just plain irresponsible.

@mattschrap The piece heavily quotes Evey Hwang of O-MAST. Are you saying she's making stuff up? If so, please take it up with her.

@CA_Insider @harbortruckers The 157,000 number is for statewide deployment of chargers to support both MHD and HHD BE vehicles in 2030, not just for the ports. Important clarification.
