“Strike fear in their hearts” The man behind the Patriots rally cry tells the story of The Warriors (1979), and has a message for the team. This was a thrill.

Was just brought to my attention that Nico Hoerner wasn’t on the top 100 list. I wouldn’t take that list very seriously if that’s the case. Whoever made it was obviously not trying to be locked in or take it too serious. The numbers speak for themselves

I was taught to honor “The Herb Spiegel Rule.” When possible, root for the team that beat yours. Watching pregame on Fox; they showed all angles of the Stafford throw to DaVante. Then they used a radio clip: "Solider Field is silent." Sorry pops. F you, Rams. Go Seahawks.

You absolutely knew Terry Boers, and my condolences to all listeners who felt that way on their loss. It’s a unique relationship. Which he knew and appreciated.

@MattSpiegs @thescorechicago I know im just a listener and you guys worked with him closely, but it still feels like I lost someone too...hope that doesn't sound stupid.

I owe a lot of my radio career to Terry Boers. When I was a junior producer in the earliest days of the score, he would let me come on and do voices and comedy bits during his shows. He gave me my nickname shaky. our shared laughs were a great part of my broadcast career.

No one I’ve been around in all my years in media was funnier than Terry Boers. His wit was the perfect distillation of his personality: smart, fast, and larger than life. I learned more working for him than I could ever express. Rest in peace, Boersy, thanks for all the laughs.

.@olin_kreutz explains the reason DJ Moore didn't speak to the media in the aftermath of the Bears' season-ending loss is because, "He can't come out and say, 'I was hurt but I was playing.'" "That puts the team in a bad spot, so he's still being a team player," Kreutz says.

@logansquarejohn @thescorechicago @MattSpiegs Wasn’t it just two guys? Baez and Schwarber? Maybe they didn’t care how it looked. I can’t blame Bryant for being deeply focused on the 2026 season and not wanting any distractions. He obviously has something big to prove this season.

Kris Bryant didn't attend the 2016 Cubs' reunion to celebrate their World Series title because Bryant thought it would be a "bad look" for him to attend considering he hasn't played much for the Rockies due to injuries, @MattSpiegs says.

The Chicago White Sox have had a really good offseason. Munetaka Murakami fell into their laps. Seranthony Domínguez is a proven late-inning reliever. Anthony Kay, Sean Newcomb, getting Luisangel Acuña in the Luis Robert trade. Not contenders yet, but it's the right direction.
