Database fragmentation leads to loss of patient cohorts: link.springer.com/article/10.100… - in this paper we re-identify them using an 11 database trawl and a log reg model - could be replicated in other institutions but requires data engineering know-how.

to absolutely clarify this is not a medical device, it is a prototype of something that could become one in the future and a sign of the future direction of travel in healthcare
