Having a school #compost garden is also a great innovative activity to encourage students to use waste to better the environment! A compost garden in schools would also help creating a worm farm. #SDG12 #educ4750 #uonteach

Congrats to Casella's "Innovator of the Year," @UMassLowell! UML converted 280 tons of food scraps into compost and energy. Some food scraps were composted and used in campus landscaping, while some were converted into energy at an anaerobic digester: bit.ly/3aOa6j1
