@ASOIAFQuotesGOT Alright the Jaime/Tyrion dynamic is one thing I preferred the show over the book. Granted, we don't yet know the ending in the books and the book version is far more dramatic, but I do appreciate the way the show presents a complex but strong bond.

@AmYisraelChai_X Basically he runs with a group of edge lord comedians who are sometimes funny but morons. He is the smartest one in the group of morons so he thinks he's the smartest in any group.

@mma_orbit Gotta be one of the worst eras for champs in UFC history. Ilia and Khamzat have 1 fight each since Oct 24 and Islam has 1 since Jan 25.
English

@castleeric25 @Muricaenjoyer @SalmanSoz @ishaantharoor Not really. Iran war and their shadow games is a prime example. They have to try and divide us so the politicians will back down, it's their only hope. If you drop a bomb on US soil you will give the left, the right and everyone else a common enemy and it's game over.
English

@MattTheZero1 @Muricaenjoyer @SalmanSoz @ishaantharoor These aren’t WWII times there are SEVERAL countries that could rock the US’s shit, and I’m not even talking about fellow nuclear powers
English

Having just seen long lines for cooking gas cylinders on the streets of cities in India — one of many bystanders to the conflict whose population has been seriously impacted—I’m struck yet again by how relatively insulated the U.S. is from the wars it unleashes

Spring Break goes WILD☀️ 🍺🤪 and the students have NO IDEA what’s going on🤣 “The BIGGEST issue in America is what BIKINI I’m wearing tomorrow”👙 “We’re going to war with IRAQ that’s been crazy”🤔 “I’ve NEVER heard the word Ayatollah in my life”🫢 “Is Venezuela in SPAIN?”😬😬😬
English

@Muricaenjoyer @SalmanSoz @ishaantharoor Exactly, last time a country bombed US soil we deployed over 16 million troops and eventually ended up dropping nukes on them.
English

@SalmanSoz @ishaantharoor Actually the opposite is true. One single missile hitting an American city would lead to 80% of this country thirsting for blood in ways that would have made the Spartans blush.
English

@Plasmaposting @JasonKPargin This conspiracy theory is great because it would serve no purpose. People are so desperate to believe nonsense, they are convinced that random people are getting kidnapped and killed over unrelated, recorded interviews that have already been released publicly.
English

@JasonKPargin Isn't it so cool how the mother of a reporter that interviewed Epstein survivors was abducted without a trace and the media just moved on. Man I wonder what happened to that lady?
English

@Maverick_boyy @_oldvalyria Yes but in the books he never actually has this sword, that story was show only.
English

@_oldvalyria Wait.
Is it the same samwell Tarly that was mentioned in book of Fire and Blood that still appears in GOT?
English

@TaraBull I used to work in a restaurant that gave free bread and this happens all the time. A party of 4 will come in, order 4 waters and ask for extra bread right off. They will run you to death for more bread, condiments, refills, anything free really then tip nothing.
English

@jedigoodman I think he meant that if either of them fought anyone, it wouldn't take place in Ireland.
English

Did Dana White just misspeak about Conor McGregor/ Ian Garry?
Jed I. Goodman ©@jedigoodman
Dana White is asked if the UFC with Conor McGregor and Ian Garry are coming back to Ireland soon: I'd love to go back to Dublin, do a show there. And, we're definitely taking Zuffa Boxing to Ireland too, but the Conor/Garry fight won't be in Ireland.
English

Question, Elon, and I do not mean this as an attack, but you have been relatively silent about the rise of anti-Israel and anti-Jewish propaganda pushes we have seen tick up over the last couple of years.
Any thoughts? I’m sure you have the raw data, ie the foreign bot networks @DataRepublican linked to boosting Nick Fuentes, and who is boosting who to hurt the MAGA and American right.
Could you potentially set the record straight for a lot of people?
Elon Musk@elonmusk
So many phonies, so few who are the real deal
English

@TianyuB @_Nymeria1 There was the Brienne scene too. Which, come to think of it, maybe they just didn't wanna put in like 8 different stories where a character is dead but not really. Books leaned a little too hard into that.
English

@_Nymeria1 Because the novel only describes the scene after her resurrection, while Martin clearly had a more complex and elaborate plan for this character, but the screenwriter did not have the ability to surpass the depth of this character.
so, they just let her died
English

@Attack_oftheJoe @RonDeLaPena @dhaboy01 Thought that too. I guess they just didn't wanna bother working the backstory in but still wanted it to look cool.
English

@RonDeLaPena @dhaboy01 Dude has the coolest blade in the entitle story and for some reason the show is just like I dunno give him two regular swords.

Let’s talk about how badass the Kurds are and how much we actually owe them.
The Kurds are some of the toughest fighters on the planet, and anyone who has worked around them knows it. They have a deep warrior culture that goes back generations, and when they fight, they fight hard and with a ruthlessness that is often unmatched.
In Iraq, Syria, and across the region, Kurdish fighters stood shoulder to shoulder with US Special Forces and did the kind of work that wins wars (if only American politics didn’t get in the way).
They helped us smash ISIS when most of the region collapsed.
They cleared cities street by street while we backed them with air and advisors. They held the line when it mattered.
The Peshmerga and the Kurdish led SDF proved over and over again that they are disciplined, capable, and absolutely fearless in battle.
What makes it even more remarkable is that they have stayed loyal to US interests even when we have not exactly returned the favor… which is tragic. It makes me angry just thinking about it.
Most of you have probably never heard of them.
The Kurds have been used, sidelined, and at times flat out abandoned… Syria being the most recent example, and yet they still continue to work with us because they know who their real enemies are.
That kind of loyalty in the Middle East is rare. They have earned far more respect and support than they have been given.
From a pure strategy standpoint, partnering with Kurdish forces to apply pressure against the Islamic regime in Iran makes a lot of sense. They know the terrain, they have motivated fighters, and they already have networks and resistance inside the region.
But beyond the strategy, there is something bigger here.
The Kurds bled with us in the worst fights against ISIS and stood with American troops when it counted.
We owe them.
They deserve their own lands, their own holdings.
And if the United States wants allies who will fight and hold the line when things get ugly, there are not many better bets in the Middle East than the Kurds.
God bless these warriors. I pray for their safety and swift victory.
DOL, my Kurdish friends.
English

@ngus_1 @0laribiwa Never understood why there would have to be much unnecessary bloodshed. Her troops were loyal, they wouldn't be attacking civilians. Dragon knocks down gate, full force walks in. King's Landing falls in an hour. Otherwise you leave Cersei to scheme and create way more devastation
English

@0laribiwa He was just trying to avoid bloodshed
He knew that if Dany took her whole army to kingslanding, the city would fall immediately but there would be serious bloodshed. So whenever he sees any little opportunity to avoid the bloodshed, he takes it without thinking it through.
English

Tyrion Lannister getting dumb,it was like they nerfed his intelligence
Early seasons Tyrion was the smartest political mind in Westeros.
Later seasons he: trusts the wrong people
gives terrible battle advice
keeps being wrong repeatedly
The man went from master strategist to confused intern.

Jae@Real_jaeflex
What doesn't make sense in Game of Thrones?
English

@IamTheImmortal Whatever man, I don't understand what's wrong with building your whole belief system around some random manuscripts found in different places and put together into one book by random people around 2000 years ago, mostly without knowing who actually wrote them. Don't be weird.
English

@funkmasterMMA I don't remember seeing anyone getting too mad about Strickland with the doo rag.
English

Eating chicken? No, I’d think it’s funny that he thinks he’s funny. Robbing my crew? Nah, that’s an assbeating on principle. Plus I really don’t even like fried chicken. I barely have it 🤷🏾♂️
yoyo@YoYoUFC
@funkmasterMMA Would you be cool if he started eating fried chicken and robbing your crew during your build up ?
