@Jessicameher Definitely lots of risk for the employees here... since big liquidity events are the exception, not the norm, for startups - most employees under this model will be left with loans for low/zero value stock. For many folks, there's substantial value in the *option*

I respect Ryan and have always felt employee equity was broken but I feel there are some unspoken consequences for co. and employee with this model?
