The UK's Luton Town Football Club could be set for a 25,000-seat new stadium. Plans have now been submitted for the new complex which would rise on the 8-hectare Power Court site in Luton town centre and feature a hotel and music venue. If approved and built, the club would leave its home of 119 years at Kenilworth Road for the new stadium. The project is led by Luton Town's development company 2020 Developments, with AECOM and SISA taking on the architectural design. Subject to planning approval, works could start on site in mid-2025 and complete in 2027. Yes, this is the first and probably last time we'll ever cover Luton on The B1M.
