@TomBevanRCP@MrShermichael If they keep kowtowing to this far-left, narrow slice of their electorate, they’re never going to g to win again. I thought they’d learn that, but I guess not.
What's truly incredible about this clip is that CNN host Abby Philip chooses to chastise @MrShermichael and ask him to "speak respectfully" about the issue (even though he didn't say anything disrespectful) instead of telling the pro-trans radical to go pound sand.

@LaGrecca333 I agree with you. But don't underestimate Trump. I think he will straighten out a lot of sh _t and allow common sense to return. How it was lost is beyond me.
I am under no delusions that Trump is anyone’s savior, but I do feel an inexplicable sense of calm. The last four years have been so unpredictable and destabilizing. I hope having an administration that just leaves people alone, and gets its own house in order can give us all a much needed break. I am ignoring all of the noise, and laughing heartily at all of the hysterics.
He was serious. Notice the look on his face, the gritting of the teeth, the fists. Biden has been a jerk for decades. This is not new. He got elevated because Obama wiped out the talent bench of the party with Obamacare and they needed a stand-in. Well, they're all getting theirs now, aren't they?
"Legacy of Fauci Birx & Redfield? They presided over the worst fiasco in public health history & destroyed, hopefully not irreparably, a young gen: massive psych harms in teens (suicidal ideation, self-harm, anxiety/deprn) - from lockdowns, not the virus - & an obesity crisis."↪️
Jeff Teague and Club 520 breakdown what’s wrong with bucks. We a terrible passing team and Giannis doesn’t realize he will win mvp if he lets Dame run the show
@CournanJane@SpeedwellTavern yep. I'm parked in the crime zone so I can't get my car. Sgt. told me to come back in an hour or more. Sitting in Proof 22
@BretBaier@VP Ms. VP. You say the Republicans blocked the border bill. Why did the Biden administration redact Trumps policy before presenting the bill? They could have negotiated all along if they believed their bill was better. Why vastly worsen the problem?
Ethel might just have been the best to ever do it. She sailed in the chop, skied in the trees, and spoke truth to power. She was irreverent when it came to earthly pomp and devout in her love of God. She was gramma to 34, including my husband who adored her, and the world's best storyteller to us all.
She is with her great love again now, after these 56 long years apart. And I know she arrived at their reunion brimming over with stories of the life she lived for both of them -- as full and marvelous a life as any could be.
Godspeed, Ethel. This world is so much brighter for your stay.

Because I enjoyed the subtlety and hilarity of "Am I a Racist," I saw "What Is a Woman" for the first time. It's not as clever – the didacticism tipped the balance a bit – but it is still revealing.
In various spots, Matt is denounced in interviews for being rude or uncouth or otherwise asking questions he should not.
This movie finally reveals something I had not previously understood at least not fully. Vast swaths of the academic/clinical/intellectual world is a governed by a code of rhetorical etiquette, sometimes intellectualized as "discourse ethics," and much of academic training at the highest levels consists in careful and unrelenting training/indoctrination in how to deploy it effectively as a signaling system for inclusion in a club.
It's this vocabulary and grammar that figures strongly into the keeping together of a guild that works to excludes outsiders and include insiders.
In the movie, Matt speaks as a smart person but he keeps saying things he is not supposed to, which triggers the person being interviewed. For example, he keeps asking about "reality" and "truth" and this words are complete poison to a class of people who agree mostly on constructing and protecting a world of fantasy.
The whole point of "discourse ethics" and "rhetoric" in academia is to learn and deploy word salads of confusion to avoid reality and clarity. It's a skill, one that must be taught and to which guild members must adhere with pious scrupulosity. It's how they distinguish themselves from mere mortals whom they despise.
What makes these movies funny is that Matt has this quiet and droll personality that carefully and patiently waits to deploy actual normal questions that regular people might have about completely whacky views. The delight comes from watching the clash of the two cultures: credentialed fakery vs. actual life. That's what makes it all hilarious.
It's been a tough week all around. My business is blocked and thwarted at every turn. My trolls are escalating their rhetoric. Soccer moms are telling me my t-shirt is harmful and I shouldn't wear (ha, yeah right). Sometimes, even I want to just throw up my hands.
But I can't. We can't. Sanity and truth must prevail.
Clear eyes full hearts and the majority, can't lose. But we've got to stand up and stand together.
I'm way more afraid of what happens if we don't, than what happens to me, personally, when I do.
