@Purdee …and to back that up you will see massive streaming numbers for some artists who don’t get a look-in on a show like the Brits - and others are winning awards with barely a sniff of success

@MattXploded Yes but it really is dire now - def nothing to do with music. Just viewing figures & promoting Brit School attendees. But there is incredible music out there if you look - no matter what genre or mix of genres.

When will there be some new bands? It’s a very barren field of music and has been for some time… evidenced by tonight’s nominations #BRITs2025

@MattXploded Lots of amazing new young bands & artists - unfortunately you rarely see them on big media events like this - Brits is for TV, socials & the Brits school - not really about the music anymore. It gets worse every year & it’s frustrating.
