@DesignByMaeL Sharp framing — reassurance really is the underlying need. Right now Tripy is mostly a planner, but I'm moving toward the companion side: free-form chat and route tweaks through dialogue. Curious what made you frame it that way — seen this play out elsewhere?

travel planning is one of those categories where people secretly want reassurance more than optimization. half the stress is just fear of missing something important in an unfamiliar place. Whether users end up treating Tripy more like a planner or more like a low key travel companion once they use it for real trips?

After a full redesign, v2 of my trip planner is in Apple review today 🛠️ What’s different: every spot, every opening hour, every tip is verified — no hallucinated restaurants, no made-up museums. Looking for TestFlight testers + honest takes on the demo. Reply and I’ll DM link

@Altawesomeee Thanks Yeah, just an hour ago they finally told me that the problem with “roulette” in metadata. Removed it, hope they will accept now

The 1.1 flag on a wheel or coin flip almost always hits from gambling-adjacent language in the metadata. Scan your description and screenshots for words like "odds", "chance", or "luck" and swap them for "decide", "pick", or "choose". Reframing around decision-making vs randomness usually clears it.

Apple rejected my app update under 1.1 "Objectionable Content" 🫠 Won't tell me what's objectionable. Just "check your description and promo text." It's a decision-maker app. Spinning wheel, coin flip, random number. What am I missing? Anyone been here? #AppStore #iosdev

Hey X! Building an iOS app for real travel itineraries no LLM hallucinations with fake cafes or attractions Only actual locations, hours, reviews & routes Working prototype: pick city/dates → get day-by-day plan ready for Apple Maps. #buildinpublic #iosdev #swiftui #travelapp

@hrprtsingh9 Exactly. The spike was Reddit borrowed attention Building the earned channels now: → ASO (already 4x'd search impressions) → Daily TikTok (day 4 of a 15-day experiment) → Localized screenshots for 5 markets The real test is what the numbers look like 60 days from now.

@Matt_iOSApps 174 to 5 per week is normal. The spike is borrowed attention. What happens after is earned. The founders who survive the death curve are the ones who build a second acquisition channel before the first one dies.

I launched my iOS app 1 month ago. 174 downloads on day one → 5 per week by week 3. Here's what the "launch spike death curve" actually looks like 👇

If you're building an app and haven't touched ASO yet — do it before anything else. It's the only free, compounding growth channel on the App Store. App link in bio. Would love feedback 🫠 #indiedev #iosdev #buildinpublic #appstor

What I'm doing next: • Rewriting subtitles in all languages • Daily TikTok (day 4 of a 15-day experiment) • v1.5: color presets, winner animation, share button • Localizing screenshots for DE/FR/ES/JA/RU
