This is literally the worst culinary region in the world
In just over 24 hours the Federal Court of Australia will decide if Australian women have the right to:- 1. Recognise men 2. Call them 'Men' 3. Treat them as men. The findings in Tickle v Giggle by Justice Bromwich were:- 1. Men who claim they have a 'Gender Identity' of 'Woman' are, for all intents and purposes, women. 2. Humans can change sex. 3. Sex is not binary. 4. Sall must pay damages for reacting to an unexpected joke by laughing for less than a micro-second. 5. Giggle was guilty of Indirect Discrimination. During the appeal Mr Tickle sought to increase the damages for Sall's impromptu chuckle from $10k to $40k, and for a finding of 'Direct' (instead of Indirect) Discrimination to be made. It may be the case that the 3 Justices who heard the appeal affirm Justice Bromwich's findings in Tickle v Giggle, and sex in Australia will no longer be what we've always known it to be. We will all be living in a strange and terrifying land where any man can assume the Gender Identity of a Woman and go anywhere and everywhere no man should be. He can change back into a man at any time he pleases, or just assume the form of a sexless human - which looks and acts exactly like a man. It truly beggars belief that what every human on the planet understands to be a simple biological reality has become a complicated and contentious legal conundrum created by political interference and control over the most intimate parts of our lives.
