Curious for your full take and will dive into the video when I have time to watch but you could argue their play made sense if horizon had caught on like gorilla tag or Roblox. They had their sights set on millions of young users bringing in micro-transaction money. Of course we all wish they had focused just on high fidelity VR but that’s a niche market with only a certain number of potential users. They wanted kids and housewives to use their headset daily, not to have just a few million gamers a year buy lone echo 3.
