@matteo311 What a stupid take. We’re Meta gonna buy $/£2000 PC’s for everyone to play the games on? Jesus, no wonder VR is frowned upon when we have cheerleaders like this.

@Bluphoenicks1 @bmfshow Yes both of those games were Quest 2 initially and looked amazing (well AW2) on that hardware.

@bmfshow my question is if this or red matter could look so good on the quest why do so many games like assassins creed, Asgards Wrath 2 and so many others look so underwhelming ?

I see people saying that the PS3 and GameCube could do this 15 years ago...yeah EXACTLY! If a standalone headset with a chip the size of a postage stamp can render something that looks even close to what a dedicated home console rendering in 720p could do that's dang impressive. People are forgetting that this is rendering at a much higher resolution and hitting 72-90hz, not 30 fps. Plus it has to render it TWICE! Look at where we started with standalone VR.

@BeardoBenjoYT I just booted up Quantum Void on the Quest 3 . It looks like it’s running on a more powerful headset to Star Trek Infection. What a staggering difference in graphical fidelity

Star Trek Infection launched today (without much fanfare) & the game is in a much better state on PCVR vs what I played on Quest in August! It isn't perfect & the voice work is a bit wooden but for Trekkies there's a great story & a lot to love here youtu.be/8lFlCAqSG_w 👀

@BeardoBenjoYT Yeah the Quest version isn’t great. It’s not terrible but the framerate and below par visuals don’t help. I don’t mind the voice work and story so far but they could be the best part of an average game.

@QuestWithMatt Not handing out review codes until the day of release is a big red flag or silly marketing move. The decoys make it sound great though. Fingers crossed.

@QuestWithMatt It reviewed badly. I cancelled my pre-order. Why should VR players support devs who put out sub standard products? I'm not holding out much hope for Star Trek Infection either as the devs are not sending out review keys until the day (tomorrow) the game release. Red flag city.

It's exhausting always being right... Joking aside, the single-player game market on Quest is a disaster. It's disheartening. So, after its first weekend, The Boys only has 2600 players on #Quest3. #vr

@GAMERTAGVR I was gonna get a Switch 2 for Metroid but as that was average I didn’t bite but a new Starfox and my ass is back in the game.

So we got Metroid (meh for me) Donkey Kong👍 and a Mario Kart👍BUT a new Star Fox game would be insane! If we get a new Zelda, Mario and FZERO within the Switch 2 lifecycle, this console might be goated for me.

@QuestWithMatt This has nothing to do with the platform it’s the quality of the product. I pre ordered, saw the reviews, refunded without downloading. Roll on Tuesday for Star Trek I hope that’s better

The Boys Trigger Warning has been available since yesterday on Quest3, despite having long been ranked 4th and 5th among the most anticipated games on Quest. Currently, only 985 people have achieved the first achievement, which consists of completing the first mission. I'm always impressed to see how much developers still care about this platform. We'll see how things develop over the weekend, but we shouldn't expect the game to exceed 5000 players.... #Quest3 #VR
