Go Mongolia 🇲🇳🇲🇳🇲🇳 A wonderful visit to Mongolia with @OdileRenaud and @MatteoPatrone3 to experience the vibrancy of the country. Big thanks to @TakacsHannes, and EBRD Ulaanbaatar office. Since inception, we, @EBRD, invested more than €2.4bn in 150 projects in Mongolia.

Back from #Mongolia where I received a very warm welcome from the President and Prime Minister and many other friends of the @EBRD. The country has a vibrant private sector and we discussed ways of investing more in renewable energy, energy security and sustainable mining.

During the meeting with EBRD Vice President @MatteoPatrone3 I thanked him for the important support of the energy sector and the cooperation with Ukrainian energy companies. We discussed the implementation of joint infrastructure and humanitarian projects. A productive meeting with the @EBRD team. We discussed in detail the portfolio of projects that the #EBRD is financing in Ukraine, focusing primarily on energy projects for this year and the upcoming year. On the agenda was also attracting investments, creating a single pipeline of investment projects for potential investors and IFI’s. In this context, I highlighted the importance of the Strategic Investment Council. Additionally, we addressed the issue of attracting investments in demining and launching the humanitarian demining market, as well as financing mortgage programs. Grateful to @MatteoPatrone3 and the entire @EBRD team for their contribution to Ukraine's recovery. ____ Продуктивна зустріч з командою @EBRD у Києві. Детально обговорили портфель проєктів, які ЄБРР фінансує в Україні, насамперед енергетичні проєкти на цей і наступний рік. Також на порядку денному було залучення інвестицій, створення єдиного портфеля інвестиційних проєктів для міжнародних фінансових організацій. У цьому контексті обговорили важливість роботи Стратегічної інвестиційної ради. Крім того, порушили питання залучення інвестицій у розмінування та запуск ринку гуманітарного розмінування. А також фінансування іпотечних програм. Вдячна @MatteoPatrone3 та всій команді @EBRD за внесок у розвиток України.

The productive meeting with @EBRD President @OdileRenaud. The contribution of @EBRD to Ukraine's recovery is more than significant. Last year, they provided a record €2.1 billion to 🇺🇦. Half of these funds were allocated to support the private sector. It once again shows EBRD's sees the private sector as a cornerstone of Ukraine's recovery.

My first day at #WEF24 began with an important event devoted to support for #Ukraine with @ZelenskyyUa and @vonderleyen and many of its strongest supporters. It is morally right to back Ukraine and the costs of not supporting it will far outweigh those of continuing to do so.

An opportunity to congratulate @DorinRecean in person - and the whole of Moldova - on the decision by @EU_Commission to open EU membership negotiations! @EBRD will continue to support the country's economic development and reforms.
