In light of the SAVE Act, Democrats should require every gun owner to register and complete a federal background check that requires either a passport or a birth certificate.

52% of voters don’t have a valid passport.
11% don’t have access to their birth certificate.
70 million women don’t have a birth certificate that matches their current legal name.
Only five states offer “enhanced” driver’s licenses that indicate citizenship.
So no, Mike, it’s the opposite of “commonsense.”

Poll after poll shows 80–90% of Americans support proof of citizenship and voter ID to vote in American elections. This is COMMON SENSE. You need an ID to drive. To open a bank account. To buy cold medicine. To get government benefits. Even to get into the Democrat National Convention. Voting shouldn’t be any different. The integrity of American elections is essential. Couldn’t disagree more, Mr President. I absolutely loved Bad Bunny’s halftime show. Amazing (best in Super Bowl history?) theatre/choreography, great energy, superbly confident performance, and a very welcome unifying message.
Oh, and Spanish is 1st language for 50m+ Americans!
